About the position

As an iOS Robotics Engineer at WTE, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the iOS platform for robotics development. Your primary responsibility will be to drive and own the development of cutting-edge robotics algorithm software, taking projects from initial prototypes to fully deployed solutions. This position is integral to the team’s mission of making iOS the premier platform for robotics, particularly in the realm of Robotics Accessories and Algorithms. You will be joining a team that has a proven track record of delivering impactful products, such as the recently launched DockKit Framework for Motorized Camera stands. Your contributions will directly influence the state of the art in robotics, as you will be tasked with transforming innovative concepts into reliable software solutions that can be deployed in real-world scenarios. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience in robotics algorithms, which encompasses various domains including perception, control, and planning. You will be expected to address real-world deployment challenges by fine-tuning algorithms and adjusting approaches to achieve optimal results. Your work will not only involve technical development but also collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, where your ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships will be crucial. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Broad Robotics Algorithms spanning from Perception to Control to Planning.
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Deep understanding of Perception in the context of Robotics.
  • Experience in handling real-world deployment issues of robotics.
