Tapestry Solutions, a Boeing Company, is seeking an iOS Software Application Developer to join our Design Innovation Team in Jacksonville, FL. This role is integral to supporting the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) work performed at our Jacksonville site. As an iOS Application Developer, you will engage directly with customers to gain a comprehensive understanding of their processes and pain points, leading the development of tailored software solutions that address these challenges. Your work will involve collaboration with architects across various products and platforms to ensure that the solutions developed meet customer requirements effectively. In this position, you will be responsible for gaining a deep understanding of the customer's current processes and solutions, developing software designs and algorithms, and defining external interfaces. You will prioritize tasks, lead reviews, and assist project leads with risk management and progress reviews. Ensuring the application of best practices in software development is crucial, as is reviewing statements of work, conducting estimation reviews, and managing risks associated with the projects. You will also translate contract requirements into actionable work requirements, processes, and tasks, participating in the development of fundamental approaches to projects and requirements for implementation. Leading the development, maintenance, and unit testing of software applications will be a key part of your role, along with making architecture decisions and implementing best practices using current and emerging technologies. You will participate in both internal and external design reviews, lead integration and testing efforts of software applications, and create overall integration plans. Additionally, you will support issue resolution, lead root cause analysis for software issues, and identify opportunities for process improvements. Defining and helping implement strategies for the software application teams will also be part of your responsibilities.
