About the position

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, with a mission to inspire creativity and bring joy. The Photo & Text team is dedicated to creating innovative ways for users to consume content on TikTok, encouraging participation in the TikTok ecosystem and enhancing the diversity of content available. As an iOS Software Engineer on this team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and shipping new product experiences that deliver fun and joy to millions of users. You will work closely with talented backend and product teams to develop and ship innovative user features, collaborating with design and product teams to create a world-class mobile experience. Your responsibilities will also include optimizing mobile applications on iOS platforms and promoting robust, maintainable code with clear documentation, all while delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent majors/experience.
• Experience in native iOS development.
• Proficiency in Objective-C and/or Swift.
• Ability to understand and debug large and complex codebases.
• Good team communication and collaboration skills.
