In this role, the I.T. Data Architect will provide technical leadership and be responsible for determining the direction for the IT architecture, standards, design, and implementation approaches for the company's application systems, infrastructure, and/or network-based cloud product systems. The architect will create, evaluate, and implement plans and design proposals for high-impact IT solutions, considering factors such as long-term effectiveness, practicality, technical limitations, and criticality. This expert-level role requires independent action to establish methods and procedures on new and/or special assignments. The architect will be expected to know and understand Jabil's business and IT strategies and objectives, define the overall solution architecture consistent with Jabil's methodology, and be responsible for the technical solution by providing leadership for the customer, project manager, domain architects, domain specialists, and application engineers. The role also involves consulting and informing Enterprise Architects and Senior IT Architects to design and deliver solutions, ensuring that non-functional requirements are satisfied, and researching technology and industry trends to maintain Jabil's competitive edge. Through modeling or prototyping, the architect will validate solutions prior to full implementation and develop expertise in various architectural disciplines.
