About the position

As an Information Security Analyst Senior at GDIT, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of information systems assets for the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). This position involves supporting the design, development, and operational management of cybersecurity measures, ensuring compliance with DoD policies, and contributing to the overall security posture of the organization. You will be at the forefront of innovation, helping to protect systems from unauthorized access and ensuring that the technology used by the Army is secure and effective.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.
  • Support the design, development, engineering, integration, and technical and operational support for the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN).
  • Assist NETCOM in applying architecture to Army Enterprise programs at various life cycle stages.
  • Provide technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects or tasks, including contract and subcontractor management.
  • Participate in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
  • Perform information assurance integration, planning, analysis, and documentation of enterprise systems.
  • Develop cybersecurity documentation and system authorization artifacts, including System Security Plans and Risk Assessments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of related experience in cybersecurity and information security.
  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policy requirements, including DoDI 8500.01 and DoDI 8510.01.
  • Proficient in cybersecurity documentation and system authorization artifacts.
  • Excellent technical writing, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Education: BA/BS or equivalent experience.
  • IAT Level III Certification (CISSP) and Computing Environment Certification.
