About the position

The Infrastructure Automation Engineer (IAE) will lead the implementation of Commercial off-the-Shelf (COTS) IT infrastructure automation solutions, ensuring they meet project requirements and deliver business value. This role involves managing the entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) while focusing on automation and process optimization, leading hybrid cloud projects, and engaging with stakeholders to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of COTS IT infrastructure automation solutions.
• Manage vendor coordination for seamless integration with project goals.
• Oversee all phases of the SDLC, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, resource allocations, and timelines.
• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of hybrid cloud projects.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align project goals and manage expectations.
• Establish and implement effective communication plans across global teams.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, employing proactive strategies.
• Lead a technical team, providing guidance and support for successful project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with established governance frameworks and industry best practices.
• Implement process optimization strategies to drive operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Ten (10) years of experience managing the full system development lifecycle from inception through deployment and support.
• Eight (8) years of experience leading large project initiatives as a Project Manager.
• Eight (8) years of experience with Agile/Hybrid methodologies.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate for automation tools.
