As an IAM Analyst II, you will play a crucial role in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations team by performing support activities for IAM technologies at Boston University. You will use IAM tools and technologies to ensure that the right people have the right access to the right data at the right time. You will work with project teams to ensure that solutions meet the community's expectations and comply with university IAM policies and standards. This role involves collaborating across various departments to enhance IAM processes and support the presence of IAM programs within the University.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for IAM technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to IAM products, processes, and policies.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure solutions comply with university policies and standards.
  • Improve IAM processes in collaboration with IAM management and business units.
  • Participate in IS&T leadership committees as needed.
  • Be available outside of standard working hours for changes during approved enterprise change windows and to support priority incidents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (B.A./B.S. required, or technical institute degree/certificate).
  • Three years of relevant work experience in IAM or related fields.
  • Experience with IAM tools and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours when necessary.
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Security and SailPoint IIQ is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Demonstrated knowledge in a specific IT discipline with problem-solving and analytics skills.
