Join our dynamic Identity and Access Management team as the new IAM Application Analyst! You will oversee the design, development, implementation, and management of IAM processes and systems that align with our enterprise-wide identity, access management, and governance strategy. Ensuring the accurate and reliable operation of these applications is vital to Southwest Power Pool and its members. This role serves as a frontline defense in safeguarding cyber assets crucial to the electric power grid's operation. Your daily responsibilities will involve data analysis and cleanup to support compliance efforts, system maintenance and patching, real-time troubleshooting and issue resolution, policy development and documentation, access management, data validation, user acceptance testing, performance testing, and various additional duties.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design, development, implementation, and management of IAM processes and systems.
  • Ensure the accurate and reliable operation of IAM applications.
  • Perform data analysis and cleanup to support compliance efforts.
  • Conduct system maintenance and patching.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real-time.
  • Develop and document policies related to IAM.
  • Manage access and perform data validation.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and performance testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology-related field or equivalent experience.
  • For Level II: Three (3) years of applicable Security Engineering and/or Identity and Access Management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • For Level I: No experience required.
  • Experience with Identity Management platforms and technologies.
  • Experience developing workflows and documentation related to IAM.
  • Understanding of authentication, authorization, role-based access, least privilege and segregation of duties access control concepts.
  • Effective working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Unix or Linux operating systems, application support, and database management systems.
  • Effective troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Good customer service and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with SailPoint Identity IQ.
  • Two (2) or more years applicable utility industry experience.
  • IAM or Cyber Security certification.
