About the position

The IAM Business Systems Analyst will play a crucial role in eliciting, documenting, and managing both functional and non-functional requirements for Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. This position requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the design and development of effective IAM solutions that meet security and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in IAM, proven experience in requirements analysis, and excellent communication skills to engage with various teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize a strong background in Identity and Access Management to drive solutions that align with security and compliance standards.
  • Elicit, research, analyze, and document functional, non-functional, and data requirements using various techniques, including stakeholder interviews, workshops, business process modeling, use case analysis, journey mapping, and prototyping.
  • Lead discussions on requirements, present supporting materials, incorporate feedback, and continuously update the product backlog.
  • Work closely with vendors to design, develop, and implement new products and platforms.
  • Assess and recommend alternative solutions and processes as needed.
  • Identify potential risks and issues, collaborating with project teams for mitigation.
  • Provide clear, concise information to internal and external stakeholders through multiple communication channels.
  • Balance and manage multiple priorities effectively, both independently and in team environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years experience as an IAM Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Product Development Analyst, or related role.
  • Strong knowledge of agile delivery methodologies (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and software/system engineering best practices.
  • Financial Services industry experience with an understanding of relevant applications, systems, standards, and trends.
  • Proficiency in planning, research, analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills for handling complex projects.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; adept at conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Familiarity with technical IAM systems such as ForgeRock (preferred), Ping, SiteMinder, and RSA.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and Azure Kubernetes/Cloud (preferred).

Nice-to-haves

  • Relevant certifications such as SAFe Agilist, Product Owner/Product Manager, Scrum Master, Lean Portfolio Management, or other SAFe certifications.
  • Additional certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), DevOps, or Microsoft Azure are advantageous.
