As an IAM Data Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, you will play a crucial role in supporting, leading, and implementing solutions to enhance Identity Data Integrity and Standards across the Federal Reserve System. This position is part of the National IT Identity & Access Management Product offerings, where you will collaborate with a dynamic and diverse team of tech professionals to strengthen and protect the economic, financial, and payments systems of the nation. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver on the vision of aligning data processes and standards that result in Identity data that is easy to use and understand, enabling better decision-making and fostering innovation. You will help create a durable Identity data layer that serves as an authoritative source for automation tools and other Identity data users. In this role, you will work within agile teams to determine strategic direction and tactical implementation. You will be responsible for performing in-depth analysis of Identity data sets, providing input on standards, and developing automated solutions to facilitate remediation to standards, ensuring long-term alignment of data. Your tasks will include collecting, cleansing, analyzing, and validating data prior to its use by the organization and its clients. You will construct and apply standard statistical analysis and models to verify data acceptability and accuracy, as well as configure, operate, and develop methods and processes to test data compliance and quality. Additionally, you will ensure data integrity by implementing quality assurance practices, planning, designing, and performing quality assessments on data elements and structures. This includes documenting and evaluating integrity, completeness, quality, and appropriateness of formats, records, and structures. You will also gather and enter missing data, resolve anomalies, and perform regular and ad hoc reviews, audits, and investigations of data activity and integrity, preparing reports and summaries of findings. Your role will also involve producing, updating, and implementing guidelines and documentation of policies, processes, procedures, and standards, as well as identifying areas for improvement in data collection processes or systems and making recommendations to correct deficiencies. You will work on Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes/projects, either individually or as part of a database/data warehouse team, and perform other duties as assigned.
