About the position

The IAM Engineer at Cardinal Health is responsible for overseeing platform support and applications related to Identity and Access Management (IAM). This role requires strong collaboration with managed services partners and business stakeholders to ensure compliance with security policies and operational stability. The engineer will focus on providing best-in-class identity security while maintaining service levels and platform performance. The position demands a client-focused approach and an understanding of Agile concepts, with responsibilities spanning various IAM services including Access Management and API Security.

Responsibilities

  • Technically oversee IAM 24x7 operational support operations with adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
  • Drive consistent improvement in the reliability and availability of IAM services.
  • Define and measure build to run transitions to drive success of the IAM program.
  • Lead and partner closely with managed service partners to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds contractual expectations.
  • Work with service vendors to deliver initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Manage the software life cycle, ensuring software versions are supportable and compliant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in a related field preferred.
  • Working knowledge of three or more technologies preferred.
  • Proven leadership ability preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience leading and supporting technical integrations, with broad knowledge of network, database, server, and cloud computing preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience using Sailpoint, Okta, and CyberArk products preferred.
  • Working knowledge of DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Cloud Build, Spinnaker, Jenkins, Maven required.
  • Proven track record of successful IAM implementations including large scale enterprise deployments preferred.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities with the ability to weigh costs and benefits of potential actions preferred.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously preferred.
  • Ability to build and lead a technical team with diverse skill sets preferred.
