About the position
The IAM (Identity Access Management) Associate Principal Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for ensuring the security of systems by researching security breaches, administering security policies, and managing security infrastructure. This remote position involves production support, deployment planning, and the design of new security technologies, contributing to the overall cybersecurity strategy of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Research attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security and design countermeasures.
- Administer security policies to control physical and virtual system access.
- Participate in the development of security policies.
- Manage infrastructure related to security and related hardware and software to ensure availability, recoverability, performance, integrity, and supportability.
- Provide production support by administering, monitoring, troubleshooting, configuring, enhancing, and providing advanced customer support for the existing multi-level security infrastructure.
- Plan and execute the implementation of new network designs or configurations or enhancements to the existing multi-level security infrastructure.
- Research, recommend, and design new technologies, configurations, and enhancements to existing networks; provide consulting advice to customers on the capabilities of the multi-level security infrastructure.
Requirements
- Twelve (12) years of relevant technical or business work experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in a complex technology environment.
- General familiarity with common security guidelines.
- Experience with technical documentation, security solution architecture, and IAM governance.
