About the position

The IAM Lead Strategist at Truist Bank is responsible for developing and maintaining solutions using various technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, HTML, JavaScript, and SSIS. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with business units to gather requirements and propose technology solutions. The strategist will lead initiatives to enhance information security and ensure that technical solutions align with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL Databases.
• Develop and maintain database stored procedures, views, and functions that support integration of applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Assure security of data from external parties and manage row-level security within the organization.
• Design and deploy data table structures, reports, and queries.
• Write and edit scripts based on team direction and feedback.
• Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of problems and manage the resolution of complex issues.
• Lead collaboration efforts with internal and external IT service providers and business units in evaluating and gathering technical requirements for information security initiatives.
• Provide leadership and direction to ensure program elements reflect CIS requirements.
• Act as a thought leader and trusted partner to enable business units to leverage capabilities for business value.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, technology-related field, or equivalent education and training.
• Excellent ability to express complex technical and business concepts in understandable terms.
• Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity terms, concepts, disciplines, frameworks, best practices, and industry/regulatory requirements.
• Software development experience using Microsoft tools such as SSIS, SSRS, and MS SQL Server.
• Substantial familiarity with .NET framework, web services, APIs, and Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, and database design including model-view-controller (MVC).
• Experience creating web APIs and web pages within the ASP.NET framework.

Nice-to-haves

• Two to four-year degree in IS related curriculum or equivalent education and training.
• Familiarity with Active Directory.
• Experience using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Experience with different project development life cycle methodologies such as Waterfall Model, agile/scrum.
