About the position

The IAM Operations Analyst is responsible for the daily management and documentation of Adient's Identity Management infrastructure. Reporting to the Regional Identity Management Operations Manager, this role involves troubleshooting, consulting support, and leading initiatives to create and deploy new solutions or improve existing ones. The analyst ensures uniformity of services, adherence to standards, and consistency in infrastructure delivery while being part of a global team operating under a follow-the-sun model.

Responsibilities

  • Run operations of the Identity and Access Management infrastructure and support problem solving for directories, applications, and other solutions owned by the Identity Management team.
  • Lead problem management for recurrent or complex issues.
  • Contribute to the development of IAM automation processes for daily operations and gathering directory performance information.
  • Support Identity Management initiatives by managing resources and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Define administrative processes and procedures, making them understandable to others.
  • Handle process deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization.
  • Manage relationships with business stakeholders and communicate effectively with them.
  • Provide accurate analysis of business requirements and select appropriate solutions in collaboration with architecture and engineering teams.
  • Review current Identity solutions and propose improvements, participating in their deployment and documentation.
  • Adhere to Change and Problem management policies and procedures.
  • Maintain understanding of current and emerging identity management technologies and standards.
  • Develop, document, and support scripts for Identity synchronization solutions.
  • Ensure third-party solutions comply with Adient standards.
  • Provide accurate and complete status information to senior management and staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or related experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant practical experience in Identity Management production support in large-scale, global environments.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Microsoft client operating systems.
  • Expertise in Active Directory and AD LDS, Privileged Access Management (PAM) with CyberArk, and IGA with SailPoint.
  • Expertise with network protocols: LDAP, DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, TCP/IP.
  • Scripting skills in VBScript and PowerShell.
  • Understanding of security concepts related to Public Key Infrastructures, including Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS).
  • Experience with Incident & Request management workflows (e.g., Service Now, ITSM, Remedy).
  • Experience with backup/restore and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Understanding of Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPO) and Network Policy Server (NPS).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Microsoft Identity Manager, Forefront Identity Manager for provisioning and synchronization.
  • Knowledge of SQL database and T-SQL syntax.
  • Experience in CA Siteminder and Active Directory Federation Services or similar technologies.
  • Experience in server virtualization (Hyper-V, VMWare ESXi).
  • Experience with Dell Compliance Suite products.
  • Experience in Centrify and IPAM solutions such as Men and Mice.
  • Knowledge of Office/Microsoft 365 integration and provisioning including Azure AD and AD Connect.
