About the position

The IBM ILMT Tool Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the IBM License Metric Tool (ILMT) within the customer environment. This role focuses on enabling ServiceNow SAM Pro to effectively measure, track, and manage IBM licenses, ensuring compliance and optimal usage of software resources.

Responsibilities

• Set up IBM License Metric Tool (ILMT) at the customer environment.
• Install, configure, and maintain sub-capacity based licensing.
• Install ILMT tool on Windows for Big Fix scenarios.
• Set up and install ILMT server within the customer network.
• Create ILMT Database and application administrator, connecting to the BigFix Server and databases.
• Install and configure BigFix and ILMT.
• Establish integration between ILMT and ServiceNow SAM Pro application.
• Install IBM WebSphere and activate IBM ILMT for WebSphere Adapters.
• Prepare environments for IBM WebSphere Adapter node.
• Develop messages using WebSphere adapters.

Requirements

• Experience with IBM License Metric Tool (ILMT).
• Proficiency in installing and configuring ILMT and BigFix.
• Knowledge of sub-capacity based licensing.
• Experience with IBM WebSphere installation and configuration.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow SAM Pro integration.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with artificial intelligence language tools for job descriptions.
