The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) is the nation's voice for community banks with its mission to create and promote an environment where community banks flourish. We are dedicated exclusively to representing the interests of the community banking industry and its membership through effective advocacy, best-in-class education, and innovative products and services. The ICBA Communications team is looking for an enthusiastic intern to provide assistance to its high performing Communications department in day-to-day operations. You will assist the Communications Department in various tasks including organizing files, editing, writing, research, data analysis, media outreach, and intake. You will work closely with the Communications Department, but also closely with the broader MarCom Department, with opportunities for ideation and collaboration. Further, this role interfaces with social media and will help ideate and execute opportunities to better engage with members and target audiences using social media channels. The 2025 ICBA Summer Intern program will be from June 2 - August 1. This is a paid, full-time opportunity in the summer (37.5 hours per week) based in our Washington, DC office. Our goal is to have a hybrid program that will be both virtual and in-person. Final determination on the hybrid schedule will be made closer to the program start date. The program will be a learning experience and help you gain valuable job experience and develop essential skills. Interns will gain exposure to senior leadership, work on meaningful projects, participate in learning and development opportunities and join in networking and social events with other team members and fellow interns and participate in a final presentation the final week of the summer internship.
