About the position
The Ice Center Attendant II position at Dakotah! Sports and Fitness Ice Arena involves supporting guests with skate sharpening and maintaining the appearance of the arenas. The role requires at least one year of ice arena experience, proficiency in driving a Zamboni, and strong customer service skills. Responsibilities
- Support guests with skate sharpening services.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the ice arenas.
- Supervise the operations of the ice arena building.
- Drive the Zamboni for ice resurfacing as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of ice arena experience.
- Proficiency in driving an ice resurfacer (Zamboni).
- Valid Class D driver's license with a good driving record.
- High school diploma or GED or in good standing to achieve one.
- Ability to work on feet for 70% of the time.
- Physical ability to handle and lift up to 25 lbs.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in customer service within a recreational setting.
- Knowledge of ice arena operations.
