About the position

The Ice Rink Customer Service Associate role at the LeFrak Center at Lakeside involves providing exceptional customer service in a dynamic outdoor environment. Associates will rotate through various positions, including cashier, skate rental attendant, greeter, and skate guard, ensuring a positive experience for guests while adhering to safety and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily opening meetings with the Manager on Duty (MOD) to discuss programming, events, specials, and important guidelines.
• Adhere to all Lakeside transaction policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Proactively resolve guest issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Receive and verify the opening cash bank from the MOD.
• Maintain accurate accounting of transactions throughout the day.
• Complete closing procedures with the MOD, and report any issues encountered.
• Provide efficient and friendly service to guests renting skates.
• Monitor the skating area for safety compliance, assist skaters, and maintain order.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in ice skating or knowledge of skating operations.
