About the position

The Ice Rink Operations Manager at Flight Adventure Park is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the operations of the ice rink, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and optimizing business objectives. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as financial acumen, to effectively manage rink schedules, staff training, and program development while also assisting in the management of the trampoline park and other facility aspects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Coaches, staff, and ice usage at the rink.
• Manage rink schedules, skate sharpening and repair, skate rentals, and league management.
• Initiate the development and maximization of business objectives through increasing sales and programming.
• Serve as Manager on Duty and assist the General Manager in managing the trampoline park and bounce houses.
• Ensure company policies and standards are practiced with all Team Members.
• Monitor and manage overall rink and facility safety and cleanliness.
• Manage scheduling for all ice hockey and figure skating programs.
• Maintain records of activities and programs, completing reports and making recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and maintain training for all Team Members related to ice programs.
• Manage inventory of all ice-related items and ensure compliance with rental contracts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years of customer service experience
• First-aid, CPR, and AED certification
• Strong communication skills
• Financial acumen
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
