About the position

The Supply Chain Analyst at icebreaker plays a crucial role in driving inventory management processes and overseeing daily supply chain activities. This position focuses on enabling sustainable and profitable growth for the brand by identifying opportunities for improvement, implementing process enhancements, and making data-driven recommendations to achieve sales targets and optimize inventory productivity. The analyst will also be responsible for building operational reporting tools to enhance inventory analytics and overall operational assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the inventory management process and manage day-to-day supply chain activities.
  • Identify opportunities and implement process improvements to achieve sales targets.
  • Build operational reporting tools to promote inventory analytics.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings to discuss changes to sales and inventory forecasts.
  • Create monthly reports and analyses on key metrics related to inventory utilization and position.
  • Collaborate with distribution, logistics, and customer service for end-to-end supply chain execution.
  • Maintain system data integrity and contribute to seasonal classification changes.
  • Lead automation efforts to reduce manual reporting tasks.
  • Support the inventory budgeting process for excess, days, and dollars.
  • Monitor and report on monthly/quarterly leadership metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Management or a related analytical setting.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand supply chain issues and drive solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage projects under deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and flexibility.
  • Experience with reporting platforms such as SAP, COGNOS, and Business Objects.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Finance or Inventory Management.
  • Familiarity with Power BI and advanced Excel skills.
