About the position
The ICQA Regional Support Specialist at ShipBob plays a crucial role in monitoring inventory activities across various fulfillment centers. This position is essential for ensuring that inventory discrepancies are investigated and resolved, allowing the existing ICQA team to focus on their daily responsibilities. The specialist will support operations by performing physical inventory counts, communicating updates, and participating in root cause analysis of inventory adjustments, all while contributing to a culture of transparency and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Investigate inventory discrepancies reported by the Operations team.
- Perform physical inventory cycle counts and reconcile inventory variances.
- Answer Jira tickets within SLA and communicate updates to ICQA AM and Regional ICQA Manager.
- Understand the root cause of inventory adjustments and participate in corrective efforts.
- Identify areas of opportunity in day-to-day processes regarding inventory practices.
- Provide support coverage and ICQA training at any FC within the assigned region.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis around inventory discrepancies and review findings with ICQA Lead.
- Ensure timely research and resolution of inventory variances to fulfill outbound orders.
- Meet all SLA's for Jira tickets and ICQA Metric goals.
Requirements
- Experience with Jira and inventory control processes.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions and solve problems immediately.
- Proficient in cycle counting and inventory control according to written SOPs.
- Ability to work without direct supervision and multitask effectively.
- Attention to detail and ability to lift 40lbs without health limitations.
- Ability to stand and walk continuously during an 8-10 hour shift.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Familiarity with inventory management software.
