About the position

The ICS Cyber Security Project Engineer at Westinghouse Electric Company will play a crucial role in supporting the AP300 program by managing technical areas, driving project schedules and costs, and providing technical leadership. This position requires a high-performing individual who is solution-oriented and eager to develop skills in project management and technical domains related to cyber security and integrated systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Drive functional area completion of required scope to support plant
• Manage and drive the schedule and cost
• Drive an accurate demand signal to the functional areas and work with Resource Managers to resource load the schedule
• Understand risks/challenges within the functional areas and drive solution-oriented thinking
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and develop recovery plans
• Act as the lead point of contact for Functional Area Leads and Energy Systems Project Manager
• Represent discipline in the Product Development Review Meeting (PDRM)
• Support Resource Managers, Project Manager, and Technical Lead as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, cyber security, or computer science
• Ability to be granted 10 CFR 73.56 Trustworthy and Reliable clearance
• Cognizance in technical areas such as Cyber Security, Integrated systems Engineering, Control Systems, and Sensors
• Knowledge of project management principles
• Very effective oral and written communications
• Ability to establish effective networks across various functional areas

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience on Emerson Ovation platform
• Previous experience with Westinghouse Cyber Security solutions
• Previous experience on AP1000, AP300, or upgrade I&C
• Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), or equivalent
