About the position
The ICU/Critical Care RN position at Infojini Healthcare involves providing high-quality nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit at Methodist Hospital South in Jourdanton, Texas. The role requires a skilled nurse to manage critically ill patients, assist with advanced procedures, and collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This position is a contract role with guaranteed hours, emphasizing the importance of experience in critical care settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor and manage patients on ventilators, BiPAP, and C-PAP.
- Administer cardiac and diuretic drips as per protocols.
- Assist with procedures such as thoracentesis and paracentesis.
- Float to medical-surgical telemetry unit during low census periods.
Requirements
- Must have ACLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
- Experience with TEE and Cardioversion procedures.
- Ability to care for patients receiving cardiac and diuretic drips.
- Experience in managing patients on ventilators and other critical care equipment.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Dobutamine and Lexiscan Stress tests.
