About the position

The Identity Management and Cyber Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining identity management systems and cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive information and critical infrastructure for government and military clients. This role requires a high level of expertise in secure communication protocols, risk management strategies, and advanced tools related to identity management and vulnerability testing.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop sophisticated systems, applications, and solutions for enterprise-level cyber systems and networks.
  • Establish and maintain operational security risk management strategies, including defining security requirements and performing risk assessments.
  • Employ advanced tools and tradecraft related to identity management, vulnerability testing, and system hardening.
  • Integrate new security features within existing architectures and provide architectural analysis to enhance system capabilities.
  • Develop security policies and interface with external entities, including law enforcement and intelligence agencies.
  • Offer engineering recommendations, lead testing initiatives, and provide solutions to complex system issues.
  • Guide the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.

Requirements

  • 9 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or 7 years with a Master's; or 4 years with a PhD or Juris Doctorate; or High School Diploma with 13 years relevant experience.
  • Experience in identity management and cybersecurity roles.
  • Active TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility and willingness to submit to a CI polygraph exam.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of intelligence/risk management analyst experience.
  • Experience with various techniques applied to identity management methodologies.
  • Maintain knowledge of established risk management and OPSEC plans.
  • Experience in determining the operational validity of a unit's risk management Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
  • Knowledge of various open sources, digital behaviors, and common platforms used in one or more CCMD AORs.
  • Experience within the Intelligence Community, CCMDs (J2X/3X), or Federal Law Enforcement in CI/HUMINT, Cyber, SIGINT specialty areas.
  • Experience in Surveillance Detection Route (SDR) and Counter-surveillance planning.
  • Completion of one or more JCITA Courses.
