Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of information security policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the information security function, including security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and user access controls.
  • Participate in risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of security awareness and training initiatives for employees.
  • Contribute to security incident response activities, including investigation, response, and remediation efforts.
  • Support the preparation of regular reports and updates on security incidents, metrics, and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of information security principles, practices, technologies, and standards.
  • Familiarity with risk management methodologies and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in assisting with the development and implementation of information security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess security issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications or specialized training in information security is a plus.
  • 3 years of experience in information security or a related field.
