About the position

As a Product Portfolio Operations Manager in Identity and Access Management at JPMorgan Chase & Co., you will play a crucial role in a dynamic team that is responsible for implementing connectivity strategies across various product lines. Your expertise in strategic thinking and operational excellence will be essential as you work to enhance coordination within our product offerings. This position requires you to adapt to shifting priorities and resources while ensuring that the team meets its business objectives. You will be a foundational member of the team, directly responsible for creating structures that facilitate effective communication and reporting for portfolio management operations and change initiatives. In this role, you will enable operational efficiency by supporting training, conducting needs assessments, and promoting continuous improvement practices. You will drive the adaptation and modification of our product-line framework to ensure that cross-product priorities, sequencing, and trade-offs are effectively realized. Additionally, you will implement a product-level collection strategy that encompasses controls, financials, and resource needs, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices. Tailoring Agile methodologies to fit the unique needs of each team and objective will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics will be essential to track team progress and identify areas for improvement. You will proactively manage risks and dependencies across distributed teams to ensure continued delivery to our stakeholders, making your role vital to the success of our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Works across products to help ensure delivery against business objectives while coordinating reporting and communications plans for portfolio management operations and change initiatives.
  • Enables operational efficiency by supporting training, maturation, needs assessments, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Drives adaptation and modification of our product-line framework to ensure cross-product priorities, sequencing, and trade-offs are realized.
  • Implements a product-level collection strategy consisting of controls, financials, and resourcing needs.
  • Ensures compliance with organizational standards and best practices, while tailoring Agile methodologies to fit the unique needs of each team and objective.
  • Monitors and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track team progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Proactively manages risks and dependencies across the distributed teams to ensure continued delivery to our stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in program management or performance optimization.
  • Proven ability to manage and implement operational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Proven ability to operate within the product development life cycle and agile methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proven experience in either Identity and Access Management or large scale finance technology operation.
  • One or more of the recognized agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Agile Leadership (CAL), SAFe Agilist (SA) or any other applicable certification.
