About the position

The Identity Management Solutions Engineer at Rochester General Hospital is responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and integrating Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems and solutions. This role focuses on protecting information assets through the latest digital identity and cybersecurity techniques, ensuring that solutions safeguard against unauthorized access and data breaches. The engineer will leverage problem-solving and data analysis skills to deliver projects on time and address system design weaknesses effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, implement, and integrate IAM systems and solutions.
  • Ensure solutions protect information resources against unauthorized use and access.
  • Leverage problem-solving and data analysis skills to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve system design weaknesses.
  • Troubleshoot and manage resolution of issues related to identities, systems, access, accounts, authentication, authorization, entitlements, and permissions.
  • Determine and recommend appropriate responses to complex problems and issues.
  • Ensure maintenance, patching, operation, and monitoring of IAM systems.
  • Troubleshoot, support, and resolve system incidents and changes as required.
  • Define, promote, and advise on solutions and best practices throughout the system development life cycle.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems Engineering, Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering, or a related field.
  • One (1) year of work experience in a title/position involving systems integration or software engineering of IAM solutions such as Microsoft Graph.
