About the position
The IDMC Developer position is focused on enhancing data quality within a Fortune 100 company's Agile team, transitioning from on-premises to cloud solutions. The role involves developing, maintaining, and testing workflows in Informatica Cloud Services (IICS) while ensuring robust data management practices. The developer will play a crucial role in the migration process and will need to possess strong technical skills in programming and SQL.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and test all IICS workflows
- Conduct the testing process and resolve all defects
- Create unit test cases and test queries for testing the IICS code
- Utilize strong analytical and technical skills in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile methodologies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with ETL, specifically Informatica PowerCenter
- Expertise in ETL data management areas such as ETL and database architecture and design, data warehouse design and implementation, administration
- At least 1 year of work experience with ETL Informatica Cloud Services (IICS)
- Working knowledge to convert PowerCenter workflows to IICS platform
- Prior programming expertise in Java, Python or PySpark
- Understanding and expertise in Data Quality concepts
- Expertise in CDQ or CDP
- Performance tuning experience in IICS, Informatica, and SQL
- Strong SQL experience and an understanding of dimensional data models to design a robust and secure Data modeling experience to design Data warehouse
- Extensive experience interacting with business users to analyze their business processes and requirements
- Experience with troubleshooting Informatica session failures and the ability to performance tune mappings
- Experience in IDQ to IDMC migration
- Familiarity with Azure Databricks
