About the position

The IDMC ETL Developer role at Insight Global involves designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) and Power Center. The position requires collaboration with business analysts and stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical specifications, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and availability through effective ETL/ELT processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using IDMC and Power Center.
  • Work with toolsets like Data Integration, Data Profiling, Data Quality, Data Governance & Catalog in IDMC.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot data workflows and performance issues.
  • Implement data quality and data governance best practices.
  • Perform data migration and integration tasks across various platforms and environments.
  • Monitor and manage data pipelines, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data integration and cloud technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of proven experience in Informatica IDMC (IICS) toolsets.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in Informatica Power Center.
  • Proven experience in pulling data from Oracle Fusion Cloud data sources using IDMC toolsets.
  • Strong understanding of data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • 7+ years proficiency in SQL and database management systems such as Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, and Azure.
  • Knowledge of data quality and data governance principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with other data integration tools and technologies.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with Oracle databases such as EBS and Fusion Cloud.
