About the position

teKnoluxion is seeking a dedicated IEC Engineer to join our team in St. Louis, MO/Arnold, MO. This position requires an active TS (SCI eligibility) clearance and the ability to obtain a CI polygraph upon application for initial consideration. The role is integral to supporting the UDS contract at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), where you will collaborate with Senior Engineering and Project Integration staff to assess, document, and track existing and new program requirements. You will be responsible for developing artifacts, architectural documentation, and integrating various sources into a cohesive product, as well as preparing graphical and narrative presentations. In this role, you will support the integration and testing of specific components of hardware/software systems on a complex program. You will work closely with engineers across multiple contracts to produce architecture artifacts that span technical, physical, and logical designs, supporting a portfolio of managed services. Additionally, you will monitor service line communication channels for immediate needs throughout the day and support comprehensive solutions development by leveraging subject matter experts from various contracts and service lanes to produce and document environments. Managing assigned service tickets and coordinating their closure as needed will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and support the Senior Engineering and Project Integration staff in assessing, documenting, and tracking existing and new program requirements.
  • Develop artifacts, architectural documentation, and integrate various sources into a cohesive product.
  • Prepare graphical and narrative presentations for program support.
  • Support the integration and testing of specific components of hardware/software systems on a complex program.
  • Work and interact with engineers across multiple contracts to produce architecture artifacts that span technical, physical, and logical designs.
  • Monitor service line communication channels for immediate needs throughout the day.
  • Support comprehensive solutions development by leveraging subject matter experts from across several contracts and service lanes to produce and document environments.
  • Manage assigned service tickets and coordinate closure as needed.

Requirements

  • Active TS (SCI eligibility) clearance and eligibility to obtain a CI polygraph upon application.
  • CompTIA Security+ or similar for IAT Level II DoD 8570 certification required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
  • 5 years' experience as a Systems Engineer supporting complex, multi-site enterprise scale environments.
  • Experience writing detailed, technical documentation.
  • Ability to think strategically about technology and business.
  • Self-aware, highly adaptive, and motivated in project coordination and communication on multiple technologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with producing technical diagrams using Microsoft Visio.
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools (i.e., Jira, Confluence, KanBan Boards).
  • Adept at learning and applying new technologies, keeping up to date on emerging technologies and tools.
