About the position

The Director, Technology Solution Implementation at Humana is responsible for delivering new technological solutions that align with business needs and enterprise objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of organizational capabilities and involves implementing technology into business solutions, gathering and documenting requirements, influencing system design, and coordinating the implementation of solutions. The Director will also provide strategic input and drive performance improvements within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Implement technology into business solutions
• Gather and document business system and functional requirements
• Influence system design to optimize support and ensure solutions meet business objectives
• Complete and/or coordinate implementation of design and requirements, testing, operational readiness, and transition to production support
• Make decisions related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects
• Implement strategic plans, drive goals and objectives, and improve performance
• Provide input into functions strategy

Requirements

• Master's degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical field
• 5 or more years of management experience
• Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development Methodologies
• Experience in IT business analysis, including artifacts development
• Experience problem solving and consultation within complex environments
• Facilitating cross-functional teams' efforts
• Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
