About the position

The Director, Technology Solution Implementation at Humana is responsible for delivering new technological solutions that align with enterprise objectives and meet business needs. This role requires a deep understanding of organizational capabilities and involves implementing technology into business solutions, gathering and documenting requirements, influencing system design, and coordinating the implementation of solutions. The Director will also provide strategic input and drive performance improvements within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Implements technology into business solutions
• Gathers and documents business system and functional requirements
• Influences system design to optimize support and ensure solutions meet business objectives
• Completes and/or coordinates implementation of design and requirements, testing, operational readiness, and transition to production support team
• Makes decisions related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects
• Implements strategic plans, drives goals and objectives, and improves performance
• Provides input into functions strategy

Requirements

• Master's degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical field
• 5 or more years of management experience
• Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development Methodologies
• Experience in IT business analysis, including artifacts development
• Experience problem solving and consultation within complex environments
• Facilitating cross-functional teams' efforts
• Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
