About the position

The IFS ERP Project Manager at Baker Tilly will lead management consulting and implementation services for mid- to large-size companies, focusing on the IFS Cloud software. This role involves planning and managing projects, enhancing delivery methods, and mentoring team members. The position is integral to driving transformative solutions for clients and contributing to the firm's growth in a dynamic market.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage large-scale projects, developing and maintaining detailed project plans and schedules.
  • Serve as the key liaison and communication channel between project teams and leadership.
  • Drive day-to-day project activities leveraging the detailed project plan and Baker Tilly's implementation methodology.
  • Work collaboratively with client Project Management to establish roles and responsibilities and define project schedules.
  • Lead teams through all phases of project delivery including planning, functional and technical solution scoping, and end-user training.
  • Lead and coordinate the development and completion of project deliverables including detailed project plans and solution designs.
  • Identify, communicate and manage project issues and risks, driving their resolution through proactive planning.
  • Lead preparation and facilitate internal and external team meetings and content.
  • Manage overall project scope to the defined statement of work and work plan.
  • Develop detailed project budgets and forecasts, monitor weekly hours, and maintain budget tracking.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to consultants and client team members throughout the implementation project.
  • Utilize ERP, project management and business experience to guide sound business decisions regarding process design.
  • Lead the planning, preparation and delivery of configuration, testing, data conversion and training activities.
  • Support robust change management programs to increase adoption for clients with the IFS Cloud Solution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business Management, or related field.
  • Seven or more years of related experience in consulting roles with a focus on ERP implementation and project management.
  • Direct experience in project management roles working on at least two end-to-end ERP software implementations.
  • Knowledge and experience in targeted industries such as Manufacturing, Construction, or Aerospace and Defense.
  • Demonstrated team leadership skills with success leading large teams or small projects through project delivery.
  • Effective communication and facilitation skills, including development and delivery of communication content.
  • Demonstrated organization and task management skills, including concurrent ownership of multiple aspects of project delivery.
  • Ability to effectively manage project schedules and resources, including use of Outlook and other calendar tools.
  • Mastery in the use of the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.

Nice-to-haves

  • IFS Cloud experience and IFS Practitioner Certification(s) preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with software configuration, prototyping, and testing is a plus.
  • Experience in business process analysis and design in various processes such as Order to Cash or Procure to Pay.
