The firm is seeking an IFS ERP Manufacturing Solution Architect to join its Digital Team, which focuses on management consulting, solution design, and implementation services for mid- to large-sized companies. This role is pivotal as it involves working closely with firm leadership to serve clients and contribute to the growth of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering IFS Manufacturing Modules, applying business process expertise, overseeing configuration, and supporting change management programs to enhance client adoption of the IFS Cloud Solution. The IFS Manufacturing Solution Architect will also mentor and coach a group of talented staff, helping them develop their technical and professional skills. Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver IFS Manufacturing Modules including Discrete Manufacturing, Engineer-to-Order, Configure-to-Order, Shop Floor Reporting, Material and Resource Planning.
  • Apply business process and system expertise to bring forth leading practices in Manufacturing, Inventory Management, Engineering, Product Lifecycle Management, and Maintenance.
  • Formulate business and functional requirements to guide solution delivery aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee and participate in the configuration of IFS Cloud, leading testing and training programs during ERP Transformation initiatives.
  • Support change management programs to increase client adoption of the IFS Cloud Solution.
  • Collaborate with project managers to identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in the development and deployment of implementation methodologies, trainings, and toolkits.
  • Support sales cycles as a Subject Matter Expert.
  • Lead the continuous development of the market offering.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to consultants and client team members.
  • Conduct performance counseling and career development for consultants.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of IFS Cloud implementation training for team members.
  • Network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients and the community.
  • Invest in professional development through firm-wide learning and development programs.
  • Support the growth and development of team members and clients through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Management/Computer Information Systems or related field, or relevant experience in the field.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of implementation experience, with 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing IFS Applications Manufacturing modules or other leading ERP Solutions (e.g., SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, Epicor).
  • IFS Manufacturing experience or Practitioner Certification preferred.
  • Certification or experience with additional IFS Application modules is a plus (e.g., Repetitive Manufacturing, Batch Process Manufacturing, Configure-to-Order, Make-to-Order, and Product Costing).
  • Business expertise in Manufacturing processes and strong knowledge of other business processes: Part Setup to Costing, Plan to Produce, Procure to Pay.
  • Excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to engage effectively at both business and technical levels, providing exceptional client service and demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Exhibit ethical knowledge, a sense of urgency, and commitment to quality and timely project completion.
  • Ability to multi-task across various projects and stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with client resources from hourly resources to C-suite.
  • Willingness to travel, potentially up to 50%.
  • Must be willing to work non-traditional business hours for client demands occasionally.
