Responsibilities

• Provide stand-by assistance for balance while walking in home and out.
• Have reliable transportation and demonstrate excellent driving skills.
• Coordinate care with the client, her two sisters, and healthcare professionals.
• Perform light housekeeping duties for a clean and safe home environment.
• Uphold resident rights by ensuring privacy, dignity, and respect in all interactions.
• Help prepare vegetarian meals that assure adequate nutritional needs.
• Engage in musical and creative projects.
• Promote social interaction and mental stimulation.

Requirements

• Previous experience with Parkinson's Disease management.
• Reliable, safe vehicle that is easy to get into and out of.
• Familiarity with cancer management is a plus.
• Ability to perform basic health monitoring tasks such as checking vital signs.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, family, and healthcare professionals.
• Upbeat and compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others maintain their independence.
• Understanding of resident rights and commitment to providing dignified care.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
• Excellent job and character references.
