About the position

The Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) Sales Consultant is responsible for implementing sales and marketing plans for BIPI ILD products, ensuring maximum market penetration and distribution. This role involves engaging with key healthcare professionals, including pulmonologists and rheumatologists, and managing sales activities in various healthcare settings. The consultant will also be involved in developing business strategies and maintaining effective communication with internal teams to support product promotion and sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and utilize ILD product knowledge and effective selling skills to influence targeted healthcare professionals.
  • Execute brand strategies and business plans to ensure a consistent sales and marketing message.
  • Develop pre-call plans to meet healthcare professionals' needs and foster communication.
  • Identify key business needs and establish plans to address them, involving internal support personnel as needed.
  • Analyze territory information to optimize healthcare professional calls and monitor local market conditions.
  • Identify and develop regional and national ILD thought leaders and advocates to support BIPI ILD products.
  • Perform all company business in accordance with regulations and company policies, maintaining high ethical standards.
  • Complete all administrative responsibilities in a timely manner and develop a personal development plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of three years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience required for ILD Sales Consultant I; five years for II; seven to ten years for Sr. Consultant.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to translate scientific information to a broad range of healthcare customers.
  • Ability to travel overnight and attend weekend programs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Specialty/Pulmonary sales preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and relevant applications.
