The position requires strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to manage multiple projects while adhering to budgets and timelines, ensuring high-quality creative outputs.

Responsibilities

• Generate 2D illustrations and infographics for research proposals and papers.
• Create 3D animations for presentations and website content.
• Communicate complex concepts in medicine and computing through visual media.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
• Collaborate with team members to produce high-quality, creative final products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Illustration, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Three years of professional illustration experience.
• Proficiency in illustration and animation software programs (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate).
• Proficiency in 3D software (e.g., Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, Cinema 4D, ZBrush, Mudbox).
• Strong background in technical and scientific concepts.
• Superb illustration and animation skills.
• Ability to juggle projects under deadline pressure and changing priorities.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships in a diverse work environment.
• Ability to work independently.

Nice-to-haves

• M.S. if certified Medical Illustrator or MFA.
• Three years of professional scientific, medical or technical illustration experience.
