About the position

Cognosos is seeking a talented and creative Contract Illustrator to join their remote team. This role involves creating high-quality illustrations that effectively communicate the value of Cognosos's asset tracking solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio and a keen understanding of visual storytelling, working closely with the marketing team to produce engaging visuals across various mediums. This is a part-time position estimated at 10 - 20 hours per week, focusing on delivering fresh yet relevant designs.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality illustrations for various mediums, including presentations, swag, trade show booths, websites, landing pages, digital ads, and social media.
• Illustrate complex concepts and make them visually engaging and easily understandable.
• Adapt existing illustrations and designs to fit specific project requirements.
• Work within and contribute to the growth of the brand system.
• Work under tight deadlines across various projects while maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative input to enhance project outcomes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an illustrator working with B2B brands.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of design principles with an ability to flex into occasional graphic design work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to push boundaries but not lose sight of the end customer and what they need from the design.
• Ability to receive payments via Bill.com.

• Access to Slack is a major plus.
• Ability to occasionally join calls at times that work for the East Coast of the US.
