About the position
We are seeking a talented and experienced illustrator to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a few years of experience in the field and a robust portfolio showcasing their ability to convey messages and ideas through illustrative artwork.
Responsibilities
- Creating original artwork for both print and digital media.
- Collaborating with writers, designers, and art directors to develop creative ideas and concepts.
- Interpreting and translating concepts into effective visual form.
- Presenting drafts and ideas to clients and stakeholders.
- Implementing feedback to refine final products.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends and new software.
- Utilizing various techniques and software to accomplish illustrative goals.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred, but not essential.
- A minimum of 3-4 years' experience as a professional illustrator or a related role.
- Proficiency in illustration software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- A portfolio showcasing a variety of styles and projects.
- Excellent understanding of color theory, perspective, and shading.
- Strong creative and conceptual thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
