Responsibilities will include designing and preparing a wide range of general and technical illustrations, architectural renderings, interior designs, animations, multimedia presentations, large posters, and logo designs. The position requires advising clients on the application of various graphic presentation options to enhance their concepts and ideas. The role is not remote, but telework is eligible as determined by agency policy, requiring at least 60% in-office time during the week. Occasional travel may be required for this position, although relocation expenses will not be reimbursed. The selected candidate must be a U.S. citizen and will undergo a suitability determination as part of the hiring process. The position is non-sensitive and does not require a security clearance. Responsibilities

  • Serve as an expert advisor on form, lettering sizes, font styles, and color harmony.

Requirements

  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level for GS-07 applicants.
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level for GS-09 applicants.
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level for GS-11 applicants.
  • Ability to create illustrations in a variety of styles with different types of art media.
  • Experience in creating layouts based on detailed instructions and translating verbal descriptions into original designs.
