About the position

Maxar is seeking a creative and motivated imagery specialist/analyst to manage its largest customer within the US government. This role involves serving as the customer's advocate, ensuring effective communication and synergy between the customer and Maxar throughout the product cycle. The imagery specialist will coordinate with various departments to resolve complex customer issues and will be responsible for processing orders, preparing quotations, and conducting image archive searches.

Responsibilities

• Process archive orders and prepare quotations and tasking feasibilities.
• Prepare basic reports.
• Perform image archive searches.
• Route complex customer and technical issues based on established procedures.
• Provide training and development support.
• Follow standard guidelines and established procedures.
• Work under the direction of the EOCL Operations Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of customer service/related experience.
• GIS (Geography) knowledge is a plus.
• US Citizen with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong listening, comprehension, and interpersonal skills.
• Technically competent with computer hardware and software systems.
• Effective problem-solving and basic analytical skills.
• Experience with MS Office, Word, and Excel software packages.
• Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• ArcGIS skills are a plus.
• SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Shift work may be required - 24x7 availability (on-call).
