About the position
The Imaging Manager at South Hospital is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Diagnostic Imaging Department. This role involves applying leadership and managerial skills to ensure efficient functioning, compliance with regulations, and the development of departmental policies and budgets. The Imaging Manager will work closely with the Administrative Director and other key stakeholders to maintain high standards of service and accreditation.
Responsibilities
- Support the mission of the organization by managing daily operations of the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
- Assist the Administrative Director in developing and implementing department policies and procedures.
- Monitor and manage capital and operational budgets for the department.
- Collaborate with the Administrative Director, Department Chair, and section chiefs to ensure compliance with governing bodies.
- Develop, implement, and monitor activities and standards for the department.
Requirements
- Graduate of a JRC approved program in Radiologic Technology with a minimum of an Associate's degree.
- Bachelor's degree in Health Care or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a General Radiographer.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
- ARRT registered and possess a KY Radiation Operator Certificate.
Nice-to-haves
- Advanced level certification in Radiologic Technology.
