Imaging Service Engineer 1

About the position

Sodexo's Healthcare Technology Management Division is seeking an Imaging Service Engineer 1 for Einstein Health in Philadelphia, PA. Under supervision, this person will inspect, repair, maintain, and calibrate basic diagnostic imaging equipment, devices, systems, and instruments. Interact on a routine basis with other clinical health providers in the identification of technology-based problems. Participate in on-the-job training programs regarding technical, administrative, and customer service requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, maintain, and calibrate basic diagnostic imaging equipment.

• Participate in on-the-job training programs regarding technical, administrative, and customer service requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Multiple years as an experienced BMET or have 1+ years of imaging experience.
• Ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills.
• Minimum Education Requirement - Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronics, biomedical engineering, or other technical discipline.
• Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience within a healthcare setting with direct responsibility for the maintenance and repair of clinical devices and/or 1 year of imaging equipment repair and maintenance.
