About the position
Sodexo is seeking an Imaging Service Engineer 2 for Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY. Under supervision, this person will inspect, repair, maintain, and calibrate basic diagnostic imaging equipment, devices, systems, and instruments. Interact on a routine basis with other clinical health providers in the identification of technology-based problems.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all medical equipment is maintained in a quality and timely manner
- Repairing, maintaining and calibrating medical imaging devices in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices
- Specific experience with MRI/CT and CathLab medical devices
Requirements
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
- 5 years of imaging experience
- Hologic experience preferred
- Ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices
- Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills
- Scheduling flexibility to participate in an on-call rotation schedule
