About the position

The IMF's Corporate Services and Facilities (CSF) department is seeking experienced professionals to support its diverse services aimed at enhancing the organization's global impact. The role involves managing various functions such as strategy, resource management, procurement, environmental sustainability, and client relationships, all while fostering a collaborative and multicultural work environment. Candidates will contribute to the IMF's mission of promoting global monetary cooperation and sustainable economic growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and align the department's long-term vision and objectives.
  • Oversee a $100M annual budget and provide budgetary guidance.
  • Foster a culture of risk management and control departmental activities.
  • Develop data-driven strategies to enhance service delivery and improve user experience.
  • Monitor developments for strategic planning.
  • Implement corporate environmental sustainability strategies and address greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Manage sourcing and contract management for critical goods and services.
  • Assess, evaluate, and mitigate procurement risks.
  • Produce visual assets and oversee creative direction in support of the IMF's mission.
  • Support communication capabilities through broadcast and AV engineering.
  • Manage interior architecture, design, and space planning.
  • Oversee facilities upgrades and construction as the owner's representative.
  • Provide global security management support.

Requirements

  • An advanced university degree plus a minimum of four years of relevant professional experience, or a bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrable experience or expertise in one or more of the fields mentioned.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Planning and organizational skills.
  • Relevant professional experience in a similar capacity in a comparable international organization is desirable.
  • A track record of working well in a collegial team environment.
