About the position
Stehl Corp is seeking immediate entry and mid-level welders to join our team at our Rail and Fence shops in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves cutting, fitting, and welding various steel products, including fences, gates, and railings, using MIG welding techniques. The position offers a great opportunity for individuals to earn while they learn and advance their welding careers.
Responsibilities
- Cut steel products for assembly using bandsaws, grinders, plasma torches, and other similar tools.
- Fit and weld steel products such as fence, gates, railings, and miscellaneous steel products using (MIG) wire feed welders.
- Utilize bending and forming tools.
- Maintain a clean shop and work area.
Requirements
- Shop experience or welding school graduates/students with basic aptitude for safety, assembly, and production.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
