About the position

The Front Desk Clerk/Receptionist is responsible for providing exceptional guest service at the Quality Inn and Suites Augusta I-20. This role involves greeting and registering guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a pleasant stay for all guests. The position requires effective communication and problem-solving skills to handle guest inquiries and issues efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and register guests upon arrival.
  • Manage and modify reservations as needed.
  • Perform hotel operator and concierge duties.
  • Provide attentive and courteous service to guests throughout their stay.
  • Maximize room revenue and occupancy rates.
  • Settle guest accounts upon completion of their stay.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of hotel experience preferred.
  • College coursework in a related field is helpful.
  • Ability to stand for the entire shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally.

Nice-to-haves
