About the position

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Developer for a remote contract project based in San Jose. This position is focused on leveraging Snowflake, Informatica, and IICS to develop and maintain data pipelines and ensure efficient data management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing and ETL processes, with a particular emphasis on Snowflake as a cloud data platform. The role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design data models, and implement solutions that meet business needs. Additionally, experience with Airflow or Python for orchestration and automation of data workflows is essential. The candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting and optimizing existing data processes to enhance performance and reliability. This is a one-year contract position, and we are looking for someone who can start immediately and contribute effectively to our team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake and Informatica IICS.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design data models.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Snowflake Developer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Informatica and IICS for ETL processes.
• Experience with Airflow or Python for data workflow automation.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Tableau or other reporting systems.
