About the position

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Developer for a remote contract project based in San Jose. This position is focused on leveraging Snowflake, Informatica, and IICS to develop and maintain data pipelines and ensure efficient data processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing and cloud-based data solutions, particularly with Snowflake. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data workflows, ensuring data integrity and availability for analytics and reporting purposes. Additionally, familiarity with Airflow or Python for orchestration and automation of data workflows is essential. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. The project duration is one year, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake and Informatica IICS.
  • Design and implement data models and ETL processes to support data analytics.
  • Optimize data workflows for performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Utilize Airflow or Python for orchestration and automation of data processes.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Snowflake Developer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Informatica and IICS for data integration.
  • Experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow or programming in Python.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Tableau or other reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
