About the position

TFT Global (USA) Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator for the 3rd shift in Lansing, MI. This position is temporary with the potential for full-time employment, starting at a competitive rate of $22.05 per hour. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing team performance, ensuring customer satisfaction, and fostering a positive work environment. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and conducting performance appraisals for team members. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, with an emphasis on delivering exceptional support and resolving issues effectively. The coordinator will also manage training and development for team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties. In addition to managing team dynamics, the Project Coordinator will participate in daily data transfers to customers, oversee shipping and receiving processes, and maintain a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures. The role demands strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The Project Coordinator will also be involved in hiring and orientation processes for new employees, ensuring that all team members receive proper training and support.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Conduct incident investigations and correct substandard acts or conditions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and foster strong customer relationships.
  • Manage team performance and development, including conducting performance appraisals.
  • Participate in daily data transfer to customers and liaise with company customer representatives.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving as it relates to customer requirements.
  • Promote a positive work culture and team atmosphere.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety rules and regulations.
  • Participate in training requirements for all team members.
  • Assist in organizing travel plans for off-site team members.
  • Conduct audits of staffing and processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Review and approve all sort activities in Vantage.
  • Gather and log new customer information accurately and efficiently.
  • Procure tools and supplies related to work assignments.
  • Actively solicit new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance for local travel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Flexibility to meet customer service demands.
  • Self-motivated with effective problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards.
  • High School Diploma or recognized equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred.
  • Criminal background check, drug screen, and post-offer pre-employment physical may be required.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs unassisted and 50-75 lbs assisted.
